ICETASI is an ιinternational academic engineering conference initially launched in 2025.

ICETASI 2026 is organized by EOS Association and the Department of Environment of the Ionian University and co-organized by the Municipality of Zakynthos and the Helias Branch of the Greek Mathematical Society.

  • Will be held in the Campus of the Ionian University (Department of Environment) in Zakynthos from 24 to 26 September 2026.
  • Proceedings will be published by Engineering Proceedings (Scopus Q3)
  • Topics:
      • Core Engineering Disciplines
      • Computer Science, Informatics, and Educational Technologies
      • Applied Sciences and Materials
      • Energy and Sustainability
      • Interdisciplinary and Emerging Areas
  • “Applied Sciences & Digital Innovation in Secondary Education” Workshop, organized by the Greek Mathematical Society
  • Sponsored by PUBETA, Clinic to Cloud, Oakpine. More TBA.

The first ICETASI was co-organized by EOS Association and the Department of Environment of the Ionian University under the aegis of the Region of Western Greece.

During the conference, new engineering trends were explored, focusing on the environmental, social, and individual impact of modern society and technology, and ways to mitigate arising issues related to water and waste management, overtourism, artificial intelligence, education, laws and regulations, new materials, green technology, and quality of life.

The Proceedings can be seen here, the Book of Abstracts here, and a small summarization here.

An extended abstract and the presentation file or poster would suffice for one to participate to the conference. But only full papers (>4 pages) are considered as publications.

Exact wording from Engineering Proceedings:

“We publish only proceedings papers that are extended versions of abstracts accepted by the conference. These papers should report new evidence or conclusions and follow a structure similar to a standard research article, including sections such as introduction, methods, results, and conclusions.”

No, you can submit as many papers as you like. They will all be considered, reviewed, and, if accepted, will be presented and published. As a matter of fact, there is a discount for more than one paper per author (https://icetasi.com/conference/fees/)

The standard fee covers papers up to 8 pages. For papers with more pages, additional fees will apply (more TBA).

You can all submit your papers mentioning that you are a team and the papers are highly relevant. If more than 4 are gathered, a session can be organized for your team. A partial waiver can be granted for such submissions.

All approved papers will be considered for publication in Engineering Proceedings (Scopus Q3). No extra publication fees. The journal might impose some new review rounds regarding content suitability (i.e. only engineering fields will be considered) or formatting, but there will be no other restrictions or extra fees with the possible exception of articles that are much longer than 8 pages, where extra article processing fees might apply.

•       Conference organizers submit a proposal to Engineering Proceedings.
•       Evaluation by the Engineering Proceedings editorial office.
•       Conference organizers collect submissions and perform a peer review.
•       Accepted papers and peer review records are delivered to Engineering
Proceedings by a fixed date.
•       General check by the journal team and scientific check by academic
editors; unqualified submissions will be rejected.
•       Production, proofreading, and publication arranged by the Engineering
Proceedings Editorial team.
•       All authors are notified by the journal once the volume has been
finalized.

* The submitted papers are reviewed by members of the scientific committee and volunteer reviewers (https://icetasi.com/committee/). Submission form:
https://icetasi.com/conference/submission/
* If they are accepted, the fees must be paid (https://icetasi.com/conference/fees/)
* All accepted papers will be published as ICETASI Proceedings in an issue of the Engineering Proceedings (Eng. Proc. – ISSN 2673-4591 https://www.mdpi.com/journal/engproc), provided that they are relevant to engineering fields. No other restrictions. No extra fees. The proceedings will be published most probably after the conference, but hopefully in 2026.
* Eng. Proc. is Scopus indexed (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/engproc/indexing)
* We do not encourage hybrid mode, you have to actually come to the conference

* Regarding accommodation suggestions, check our proposals here: https://icetasi.com/location/#accommodation.

The early bird fee stands for papers submitted and paid until April 20.
