Dr. Katerina Kabassi

Professor, Member of the Board of Governance of Ionian University, Department of Environment

Dr. Katerina Kabassi is a member of the Board of Governance of Ionian University as well as Professor at the Department of Environment. In 1999 she received her degree in Computer Science from the University of Piraeus, where she received scholarships and awards for best performance. In 2003 she defended her PhD thesis in the same department and received the title with grade ‘Excellent’. Since her appointment in 2006, she has served as Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, International Relations and Extraversion, Department Chair, Director of the Postgraduate Study Program “New Technologies for Environmental Education and Sustainable Development”, Director the Research Institute of Digital Biomedicine, etc. She has authored more than 130 articles in scientific journals, conferences and peer reviewed books. She has been a member of the Scientific Committee in more than 170 international conferences and reviewer in more than 200 international conferences. She is currently a reviewer in 69 international scientific journals and her interests are in Software Engineering of cultural and environmental applications, in the development of personalized software, mobile software technology and multi-criteria decision-making theories.

Dr. Mohd Nazri Bin Ismail

Associate Professor, Faculty of Science and Defence Technology, National Defence University of Malaysia, Malaysia

Dr. Mohd Nazri Ismail has been awarded the prestigious “Educator Award 2009 – R&D/Education category” by MARA (Malaysia Agency).  Dr. Mohd Nazri Ismail has published more than 100 papers in national and international journals (indexed  ISI, SCOPUS, IET) and IEEE conferences.

He has attended many international conferences and has chaired many technical sessions. He has been appointed as Technical Program Committee and organized more than 60 national and international conferences. He has been appointed as Editorial Board member more than 90 international journals and 40 international reviewer panels (journal/proceeding). He has received 28 awards in R&D/Education. Assoc.  Dr. Mohd Nazri Ismail is an International Association of Engineers (IAENG), IEEE Cloud Computing Community, Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC), International Association of Engineers and Scientists (IAEST), Universal Association of Computer & Electronics Engineers (UACEE).

Dr. Panagiotis N. Koustoumpardis

Αssistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics Department, University of Patras, Greece | Hellenic Mathematical Society - Helias Branch

His main research interests are robotics, intelligent control, biomimetic design of grippers, machine learning, neural networks, intelligent sensor fusion and machine vision for robotics applications, autonomous robotics for mining, and intelligent robotic handling and force control of non-rigid materials as well as human-robot collision, cooperation for handling non-rigid materials, and design-control of mobile and aerial robots.

He has been involved in most of the Robotics Group research projects and he was coordinator of two projects. He is partner (scientifically responsible) of a Horizon Project (2024-2027) concerning autonomous robotic exploration and extraction of deep mineral deposits.

He has authored 54 publications in journals, book chapters, and conferences. He was an Associate Editor and Guest Editor in three international journals and special issues, Editor in one book, and co-chair in one international conference.

He was a basic member of the organizing committee of the 1st and 2nd Hellenic Robotic Conference. He is the founder and scientific director of the educational robotics voluntary action Robots@UP at the University of Patras. He is a judge and coach in educational robotics competitions, founding member (from 2001) of Robotics Club and scientific supervisor (from 2019) of Robotics Club. He is area coordinator of the organizing and scientific committee of the Open Technologies in Education (Open Technologies Alliance), and coordinator of the Open Design/Hardware/WiFi working group. He is a member of Textile ETP Expert Community, of the Greek Society of Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, the Technical Chamber of Greece, and the Ileias Branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society.

Fon Hah

Managing Director and CEO, Clinc to Cloud

Clinic to Cloud Holdings Ltd is led by Fon Hah, who serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He has built his career at the intersection of healthcare technology and cloud computing, with particular expertise in the application of Artificial Intelligence-enabled practice management software for specialist medical practices. Under his leadership, the company has focused on developing cloud and mobile app solutions that enhance clinical workflows and digital platforms for surgeons and healthcare providers – particularly assisted reproductive technology – in Australia.
Fon combines executive leadership with strong governance and financial credentials. He is a Chartered Accountant of Australia and New Zealand and a Chartered Secretary of the UK Governance Institute. He also holds a Master of Applied Finance. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Fon serves as a director of The Brain Foundation, supporting neurological research and medical advancement in Australia.
His thought leadership has been recognised internationally through publications in Université du Québec à Montréal’s Strategy Magazine and as a plenary speaker at the 5th Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Conference hosted in New York City by the European Medical Laser Academy.
