Hands-on Workshop: AI Literacy and Lifelong Learning: Interactive Training for the Future

 

Overview

This workshop aims to enhance participants’ understanding of AI literacy and its connection to lifelong learning, marketing, and business analytics through interactive activities and games. Participants will explore key AI concepts, engage in real-world applications, and develop the skills necessary to navigate the AI-driven world, especially in the fields of digital marketing and business intelligence.

Workshop Duration: 3 Hours

Workshop Structure

  1. Introduction to AI Literacy and Business Applications (30 Minutes)
  • Definition and importance of AI literacy
  • How AI impacts education, business analytics, and marketing strategies
  • The role of lifelong learning in adapting to AI advancements
  • Icebreaker activity: “AI in Daily Life and Business” – Participants identify AI applications they use daily in marketing and decision-making.
  1. Interactive Game 1: AI Decision-Making Challenge (45 Minutes)
  • Objective: Understand how AI processes data and makes strategic business decisions. Participants work in teams to simulate an AI-driven decision-making process. Each team is given a set of real-world scenarios (e.g., marketing campaign optimization, customer segmentation, sales forecasting). They must select the best decision based on provided datasets, mimicking how AI algorithms work.
  • Reflection discussion: Ethical implications and biases in AI decision-making for marketing and business intelligence.
  1. Interactive Game 2: AI Skills Matching for Business & Marketing (30 Minutes)
  • Objective: Learn which skills are essential for an AI-driven workplace in business and marketing. Participants receive profiles of fictional professionals looking to upskill for the AI era. Using AI literacy principles, they recommend personalized learning paths for marketing automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven customer insights. Teams analyze skill gaps and identify AI-powered training programs.
  1. Hands-on AI Learning Experience in Marketing and Business Analytics (45 Minutes)
  • Introduction to AI-powered marketing and business intelligence tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce AI, Tableau)
  • Demonstration of AI-driven data visualization and customer behavior analysis
  • Practical activity: Participants test AI-driven marketing and business analytics platforms and compare insights
  1. Interactive Game 3: AI Literacy and Marketing Strategy Quiz (30 Minutes)
  • Objective: Reinforce key AI literacy concepts in marketing and business intelligence. Participants compete in a fast-paced quiz with AI-related business and marketing questions. Topics include AI-powered consumer behavior analysis, AI in advertising, and predictive business models.
  • Bonus challenge: Teams propose an AI-driven marketing strategy for a fictional company.
  1. Workshop Conclusion & Next Steps (30 Minutes)
  • Summary of key takeaways for AI in education, marketing, and business intelligence
  • Discussion: How can participants apply AI literacy in their professional fields? Resources and AI learning paths for continued self-education
  • Feedback session: Participants share insights and suggestions for further training
